ATTW Presentation Video

Here is the video of the topic I presented at the Association of Teachers of Technical Writing Conference. “Embedded Online Video Conversations: Simulating Synchronicity in the Online Classroom .” Low light= low quality, but it’s there. If anyone wants to see the PPT (since it’s not really visible in the video), I’ll post it.

Here is the PowerPoint Pres. One you begin the above video, immediately click play on this PPT video below; it should all be pretty synched-up. The formatting is a bit wonky on the Participation screen, but not devastatingly so.

Thank you very much for making this presentation available here. It’s looking more and more like my dissertation will overlap with yours in some way, so I was very interested to see what you’ve been working on.

If you give this presentation again in the future, you might consider running through a brief demo of adding to an online video conversation. Having never done it myself, I was a bit curious what, exactly, it looks like (e.g. making a comment on a comment - the actual act of doing it).

    Insightful stuff here!
